Every once in a while it is nice to indulge in something wickedly, sinfully, delicious & sweet. We just finished “our experiment” and will happily vouch for this Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Mousse recipe‘s yumminess.
What’s in there? Basically siken tofu, dark chocolate, vanilla and a pinch of salt. Go try the recipe now.

(Add about 15 calories per tablespoon of agave, if you choose to add any but it really does NOT need any sweetener.) I think the secrets to this mousse are using good quality cocoa powder, a good dark chocolate (or this one - choose a dark chocolate that is about 70% cocoa or above) and drain the silken tofu well to keep the mousse really thick.
How to drain the silken tofu:
Use a couple of layers of paper towels above and below the tofu on a plate. Then add some weight on top of it. Please don’t “borrow” the dumbbells from gym for this. We actually used our cutting board on top of the paper towels and then placed our VitaMix blender on top of that.
We’ll certainly be trying many of the recipes from The Healthy Dessert Blog and will keep you posted on ones we really like? Which ones do you want to try?
